Elizabeth I joined oak standing livery cupboard of high quality. The canted upper section with three architectural designed panels with egg and dart decoration, with the stiles carved with double S-scrolls, the frieze rail carved with the same. The drawer carved with gadrooning and acanthus leaves. The slender cup and cover supports with gadrooned and leafy designs. A livery cupboard from the same workshop is illustrated in English Domestic Furntiure 1100 - 1837, Ivan Sparkes page 74. Rare collector's piece.
