Elizabethan boarded oak box

Elizabethan oak boarded box, carved with a double row of interlaced guilloche to the front and sides, with a moulded top board with it's original snipe hinges. Missing one lower moulding to the bottom, lockplate removed during the late 17th century and patched in with an escutcheon.
