Late Gothic carved oak chest, Flanders. Joined oak, carved with three panels of S-Scrolls with Dogs and Jesters, early Renaissance ornamentation on a late Gothic chest. The chest shows the change over from the Gothic to the Renaissance. Some old worm damage, patched top. Original hinges and lockplate.
