Mid Tudor joined oak armchair

Mid 16th century ,Tudor, joined oak armchair. The legs and finials carved with plumes, this motif was taken directly from knots of fabric either toping off a fabric wrapped pole or finishing off a fabric roll. Traces of original white polychromy. Seat replaced with period timber.
