Description

Charles I carved oak chest of small proportions from the Exeter area of Devon, the front carved with three floral decorated panels being divided by single S-scroll stiles and outer stiles carved with a tall single stem flower, the frieze rail with floral lunettes.

Each side panel carved with a large stem of botanical imagery with two birds facing each other at the top.
