Description

Yorkshire joined oak armchair, carved with stylised tree of life back panel within a egg and dart arcade. The drastic down swept arms with scrolled chamfered handholds. Superb hard original surface in overall original condition with only the front 1″ of seat being replaced and the left ear replaced in the 18th century.

A similar chair sold in Christie’s Bramcote Manor sale, 24th May 2001, lot 330 for £9400.
