Description

17th century square leg joined oak stool. The square cut baluster legs joined by plain stretcher rails and carved frieze rails.

The pair to this stool is illustrated in Tobias Jellinek’s book Early British Chairs and Seats 1500 to 1700, page 243, plate 325. Tobias describes this stool as: A very rare stool.

Rare collector’s piece.
