Description

Tin-glazed earthenware, painted in yellow, orange, cobalt blue, green and manganese with an interlace rosette centred on a small square device, the scrolls interspersed with stylised foliage, the rim repeating the same rhythmic pattern.

A typical product of the late Baroque ceramic workshops of Talavera and Puente del Arzobispo, whose brightly coloured wares were traded across Spain and Spanish America in the late 17th century.
