Description

James I oak carved and inlaid chest of drawers of the finest quality. The front with there drawers the upper two drawers carved with two serpents with grapes and leafy designs and the bottom drawer carved with double S-scrolls and each drawer with inlaid boarders and dividers. The front stiles carved with plumed feathers with the top section inlaid in a rectangular design. The sides with five framed panels with the top panel running the whole width and carved with an upright gadroon.

Chest of this quality, carved and inlaid rarely come to market. Collector’s piece.
