Description

Charles II joined oak armchair of fine quality and large proportions. The ring turned leg and arm supports joined by moulded stretchers and seat rails, the back rest panel carved with a huge tree with leafy decoration and the frieze rail with scrolled foliate and initials S R M.

Provenance: Sold by Huntington Antiques to private collector in Cheadle.
