Charles I joined oak armchair

Charles I joined oak armchair of fine quality and large proportions. The ring turned leg and arm supports joined by moulded stretchers and seat rails, the back rest panel carved with a huge tree with leafy decoration and the frieze rail with scrolled foliate and initials S R M.

Provenance: Sold by Huntington Antiques to private collector in Cheadle.
