Description

Charles I oak carved chest, the front with three ornately carved arcaded panels with botanical imagery within, the rails carved with lunettes and guilloche designs.

This superb carved chest with deep cut carved panels and framing is typical of the high quality Devon / Somerset work that was produced during the first half of the 17th century
