Description

Charles II boarded oak stool-cupboard, this almost unique stool with drop front cupboard is completely original in form and design with vase splat boarded sides and shaped aprons with a pegged top board. The wrought iron hinges and lockplate typical of this period.

Most boarded stools you would expect to be 16th century but this is clearly a unique late 17th century example.
