Description

James I joined oak and inlaid armchair, with simple baluster turned supports joined by moulded stretcher rails, the back rest inlaid with holly and bog oak and decorated with botanical imagery with a central vase with a single flower rising flanked with the initials G W.

The cresting rail with a typical early 17th century flat deep channel moulding with punched decoration.
