Description

Elizabeth I joined oak and carved Exeter chest of high quality, the front with three arcaded panels with botanical imagery. The styles and rails carved with vine and leaf, shell, S-scrolls with roundels, and guilloche motifs. All these designs are found within Exeter’s historic fabric in panelling, overmantels, doors etc.
