Description

Elizabeth I oak carved box chair, of small size, possibly designed for a young lady or older child. The back rest panel carved with interlaced designs similar to a knot garden, above the frieze rail carved with roundels with a lunette running through the carving. The front legs of wide proportions moulded, the stiles and rails moulded and hinged seat board.
