Description

Elizabeth I oak carved box of fine quality. The front and sides carved with nulling and gadrooned decoration. Label inside with history of ownership.

Provenance: Fred Roe, R.I.R.B.C (author of many English oak furniture books and articles) 1864 – 1947.
Frederic Gordon Roe, son of Fred Roe from 1947.
