Description

Elizabeth I oak carved press cupboard, the front profusely carved with the lower doors with large single applied arcades with guilloche designs set within a deep channel moulded frame, beneath the lower rails cutout decorated. The upper section with two framed doors with central lozenge designs within guilloche and bullseyes carved frames flanking a central applied arcade. The bulbous cup and cover supports carved with acanthus and gadrooned decoration and ionic capitals above. the frieze rail carved with strap work designs.
