Description

Elizabeth I walnut and oak carved chest of high quality, the front arranged over three panels the outer two with applied arches with ionic capitals and the central panel inlaid around geometric applied designs with the initials ER in the centre, flanked by vases with floral decoration, The upper frieze rails carved with serpents with the initials RS and ES.
