Description

Elizabeth I joined oak and carved canted livery cupboard with pot board. The four huge melon turned cup and cover supports decorated with leafy decoration, with the lower melons being smaller in size supporting the heavily gadrooned drawer. The upper section with a canted cupboard with each side panel carved with single lozenge and flanking the central door with scrolling inlaid bone and mother of peril decoration with one bone section with a warrior’s head. Above this the top frieze with three drawers each inlaid with bone and mother of peril decoration.

Rare collector’s piece.
