Description

Elizabeth I oak carved and inlaid oak chest of large proportions, the four panel front with fine carved interlaced geometric designed panels being divided by inlaid stiles with applied turned buttresses, above this a fine inlaid decorated frieze rail and the lower rail carved with guilloche.

This chest is boarded with only the front being framed. Rare collector’s piece.
