Elizabeth I cupboard / stand

Late Elizabeth I walnut and oak carved stand, possibly for a sculpture, with a early 17th century added cupboard within the piece. The turned walnut columns and arcading with ornate leafy spandrels, the top an oak board with oak cupboard below. A rare and early altered in period piece. Old repairs and restorations.
