Description

Elizabeth I joined oak table, possibly a counter type table, with a central drawer. The top is a period replacement as are the lower block feet and stretchers. The table is decorated on all sides with ornate cutouts and raised panels. The long and heavy  baluster turned legs typical of the period. Circa 1590 – 1600.

In an old condition and restored in the early part 20th century. Superb dry surface.
