Description
Elizabeth I joined oak tester bed, superbly carved with twin arcaded head board panels with botanical decoration, flanked by three figures.Below the arcaded panels is a full width shelf board carved with the Green man. Â The canopy carved with the same decoration as the head board with a large central panel.
With superbly fine baluster turned bed posts, the bed stock with rope holes and and holes on the upper section of rails to take bollards to stop the feather mattress from slipping off the bed.
Restorations to the base of the bed posts.
