Description

Elizabeth I joined oak open court cupboard, carved with a superb gadrooned frieze rail and drawer flanked by acanthus leaf decoration. The ornately carved cup and cover supports carved with leaf and gadrooned designs.

A very rare and superb example of high quality Elizabethan workmanship. Old restorations and lower pot board a 17th century replacement.
