Description

Elizabeth I joined oak chest, carved and painted. Paint initialed in both top corners Y and D within roundels, the two main panels painted with interlaced decoration (white, yellow and red) the centre muntin carved with double s-scrolls and the back ground polychromed. Perfect untouched original condition.
