Description
Elizabethan tester bed, of large proportions, the head board carved with two ornate arcaded panels with inlaid floral decoration of holly and bog oak being flanked by three figures and above with a huge carved lunette.
The ornately leafy carved cup and cover supports with a tapered leafy column above supporting the tester.
The tester with lozenge panels and a large deep set centre panel with applied lozenge block with holly and bog oak inlay, the frieze surrounding the tester with gadrooning and nulling.
In overall superb condition with a few 19th century repairs and restorations.
