Description
Elizabeth I walnut table cabinet, circa 1580, with a fall front revealing a central drawer flanked by smaller drawers, two with secret compartments. A similar table cabinet sold in the Clive Sherwood collection Lot 305, although our example has a flat lid. Hinges and bun feet replaced, missing lockplate, now covered over with a piece of walnut.
