Description

A section of an English medieval oak church screen, early 15th century. Most of the original paint decoration still evident, flamboyant carved buttresses with mythical beasts and painted tracery below. The middle section of screen with a full tracery panel cut from one solid piece. most of the infill panels replaced, one original and backed with ply for hanging.
