Description
Gothic carved yew wood box of high quality, the front panel carved with the scene of the Annunciation, with the angel Gabriel on the left and the Virgin Mary kneeling on the right. The angel Gabriel is telling Mary that she would conceive and become the mother of Jesus, the Son of God.
The side panels are carved with St Catherine with a sword and wheel and reading a book, and St Barbara holding a palm leaf and sat beside an tower reading a book.
