Description

Henry VIII boarded oak chest, carved with two large arcades with leafy spandrels and rosettes within the arcade, the original lock plate above carved initials R R with a small acanthus leaf panel below.

A near identical example can be seen in: The Age of Oak, Percy Macquoid, figure 9.
