Description
Henry VIII oak carved linenfold chest of hybrid construction with boarded sides and back, with a framed and panelled front with four linenfold panels carved with crosses within the folds. Completely original and quite possibly still at full original height.
A near identical example is shown in Victor Chinnery’s Book Oak Furniture the British Tradition page 380, figure 4:20.
