Description

James I joined oak canted buffet, inlaid and carved. This buffet is original and unique in construction, with an open arcaded base both to the front and sides. The upper section with a closed canted cupboard, the panels inlaid in a floral decoration with holly and bog oak, with applied figures, masks and carved quilloche framing. The lower section with a vine and leaf drawer and carved arcading with applied figures with chequered inlay. Crusty old surface, back boards replaced and drawer rebuilt.
