Description

James I joined oak and carved armchair of large size. The applied arcaded back rest panel with male figures supporting the arch with a chain link design with floral spandrels, and a botanical imagery panel within. The cresting rail carved with S-scrolls and leafy scrolls with a central male mask, the down swept arms joined to the baluster turned legs with the upper section being carved with nulled designs. the seat rails cutout and punch decorated.
