Description

James I joined oak press cupboard, profusely carved throughout, the two door base with three carved panels in each door with Cocks head hinges, above the twin floral carved cupboard doors flanking a central carved panel of the same design with the stiles having two scrolled serpents or dragons. The carved cup and cover supports with leafy and gadrooned designs.

Press – An enclosed cupboard, closed by one or more doors.
