Description
James I oak carved chest. The front arranged in five panels, the two horizontal gadrooned panels flanking a central panel with gadrooned border and arcade with a human figure in the centre. The stiles and rails carved with chain, guilloche and chip carved decoration.
Superb quality and rare collector’s piece.
