Description

James I oak carved and parquetry inlaid spindle mural glass wall cabinet, with a double row of spindles with parquetry inlay dividing the spindles and floral inlaid decoration to each end of spindles. The upper frieze ornately carved within a double arcade featuring lion’s mask with hoop, green men and vine and leaf decoration being flanked by leafy corbels. To each side there are both carved human and bird images and applied split turned columns flanking the shelves.
