Description
Charles II joined oak and carved caqueteuse Exeter armchair of superb quality, the back rest panel carved with a double S-scroll within an arcade, above with more S-scrolls, dated and initialed I H 1674, S-scrolled cresting rail. The seat rails carved with lancet lunettes. The angled seat board and curved armrests in the form of a caqueteuse design.
