Description

Henry VIII oak cupboard, framed with deep linenfold panels flanking later replaced doors. This hutch is a rare survival of engish domestic furniture dating from the 1480’s. Percy Macquoid show’s a similar hutch table of the same form, property of T. Charbonnier,Esq. this too date’s to the 1480’s and has the same cusped arch on the bottom rail.
