Description
Elizabeth I oak carved back stools, possibly Cornish, Launceston area. Carved with a shallow arcaded panel with tightly carved s-scrolls to the bottom rail and a tree of life design to the panel.
Long and thin Renaissance type gun barrel legs, and the upper stiles punch decorated flanking a superbly carved frieze rail of three carved arcades.
Superb original condition with traces of old paint.
