Elizabeth I joined oak and inlaid chest with drawer of large proportions. The central panel with applied mouldings, intricate chequered inlay and ornate s-scrolled framing the whole section, this being flanked by two applied arcaded panels of the best quality framing ornately inlaid floral panels. The frieze rail carved with rich s-scrolls in the form of birds, and the lower section of the chest with a deep carved double s-scroll drawer. The sides carved with lozenge panels and a lunette frieze rail. To finish off the whole base sits on sledge feet with the front section carved. Top secondary hinged in the 19th century. Overall in very good condition
