Description

Elizabeth I joined oak chest, with twin panel front with applied mouldings, the stiles and rails carved with S-scrolls and the back grounds filled and painted yellow. The lock plate now missing and a section of wood now covers the hole. The chest is initialed RD and RM to each side. Overall good original condition.
