Description

Elizabeth I joined oak stool, with long drawn out plain baluster turned legs typical of the period circa 1600. The seat rail with deep channel moulding and cutout.

Similar types of stools can be seen in Tobias Jellinek’s Early British Chairs and Seats 1500 – 1700.

In superb original condition.
