Description
James I oak chest, of boarded construction with a joined front frame and panels with applied carved arcading, with interlaced holly and bog oak inlaid panels framing the initials R within each panel.
The frieze rail and legs carve with lunettes. old damages to top edges, but a very nice small early chest.
