More information

Late Elizabeth I joined oak tridarn, heavy in construction with 1" thick back boards, panelled sides and a plain front with solid doors with simple lozenge carved decoration and typical Elizabethan ornament around the framing of the doors. The mouldings punch decorated, the open canopied upper section for display with moulded boards, and turned balusters. In an old condition, one side with feet and lower rail replaced, but solid and all internal boards original. In three separate sections for ease of moving. Dated 1601.
