Description
Late Gothic oak framed trestle table. The under frame with simple H form trestles with diagonal supports. The shape reflects the most ancient types of table and simplicity of this table illustrates how monastic furniture remained fairly simplistic throughout the ages and was not subjected to the fashions of the outside world.
Rare collector’s piece
