Description

A small-scale oak sculpture of St James, possibly part of an altarpiece. A near indentical set of figures can be seen in (Northern Gothic Sculpture 1200 – 1450) pages 110-117. Figure 28 and 31 on pages 114 and 115 being a very close match.
