These three panels removed from a later seventeenth-century Exeter joined chest are likely the work of the same artisan responsible for cat. 10. They feature differing compositions of the same elements employed on the chest – a seedpod-like flowerhead, broad, incurved asymmetric leaves, stylized urn-forms, simple arches with tripartite spandrels. All of these were commonly employed by Thomas Dennis and other joiners in his New England workshop.
