Description
Early 17th century portrait of Elizabeth of France (1602 – 1644) Born to the French Royal family she was the eldest daughter of Henry IV of France and Marie De Medici. In 1621 she married King Philip IV of Spain and became Queen consort of Spain and Portugal. She was a popular Queen, renowned for her beauty, intelligence and nobility of spirit.
