Description
Renaissance inlaid named and dated walnut veneered box. The lid inlaid with the names and date (THOBIAS . WAGNER. GEORG . MAVRKIRCH . ER . 1546 . ARNHOLT . KREITER) around perimeter and a coat of arms flanked by two griffins with an iron carrying handle. The front, both sides and back inlaid with floral scrolls, inside with original candle box.
