Description
Renaissance joined oak buffet, with opposing male and female portrait panels. The upper section with a fall front cupboard revealing a small enclosed cupboard, below a full length drawer carved with scrolling beasts and masks and below a cupboard. In overall very good condition, the buffet made in two sections. Fall front cupboard door each end spliced and replaced hinging.
A carved chest in Poundstock Church, Bude, Cornwall, has a similar carved top rail to the drawer on the buffet.
